Chancellor Zimpher on Local Development and Teacher Shortage

As Norsk Titanium gears up its operations in the North Country, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, the development arm of the State University System that’s financing the company’s new factory in Plattsburgh, has been rocked by a corruption scandal. Chancellor Nancy Zimpher joins us this week to discuss how SUNY is responding to the resignation of SUNY Poly’s president Alain Kayoleros. She’ll also talk about how the state hopes to address a critical teacher shortage facing school districts in the North Country and across New York.
