Who Was Arto Monaco?
Arto Monaco was a true original. Known for designing some of America’s earliest theme parks in the Adirondacks, A Castle in Every Heart brings his story to life with an intimate look into Monaco’s life and work, including parks like The Land of Makebelieve and Santa’s Workshop
What to Expect
When you RSVP, you’ll receive a free Land of Makebelieve postcard, and a souvenir ride ticket as our thanks! You’ll also receive an email including a zoom link for the screening.
On December 8th, we’re excited to welcome you at 6:30 PM, with our virtual doors opening early for time to reconnect with fellow PBS members, and current and past staff. Then, Host Thom Hallock and producer Derek Muirden will set the stage for the film at 7 PM. Afterwards, stay for a post-film chat where you’ll have the chance to ask questions and share your own memories.
