Don’t miss the annual Adirondack Pollinator Festival in Lake Placid, NY on June 7th, from 9 AM – 12 PM.

The Adirondack Pollinator Festival & Native Plant Sale is a free, family-friendly celebration of pollinators and native plants. This annual event hosted by AdkAction brings together gardeners, conservationists, families, and community partners to support pollinator habitat across the Adirondacks.
Check out the pollinator scavenger hunt for kids, bring your own picnic lunch and enjoy the stunning mountain views, and take a walk on a grasslands path to observe the pollinators and birds of the Adirondacks. Be sure to stop by the Mountain Lake PBS booth for a fun, all-ages activity and free children’s books, courtesy of the Hallock Giving Library.
Conservation workshops for adults and info tables hosted by local organizations involved in pollinator and habitat conservation will be offering opportunities to learn how native plants can make a difference in your backyard and beyond. For families looking to start their own pollinator garden this summer, over 2,000 pesticide-free native plants have been grown for the festival and will be for sale through 2 PM or until sold out.
It’s all happening on June 7th at the Uihlein Farm Greenhouse, 281 Bear Cub Road, in Lake Placid, NY! Until then, keep scrolling for activities, books, and more to encourage a passion for gardening and pollinator conservation in your family.
