Build Community at the Annual ACW High School Writing Retreat

Three incredible poets, two unforgettable days at Paul Smith’s College, and hundreds of inspired students!

October 27th and 28th, from 9am-3pm, the Adirondack Center for Writing presents the 18th annual High School Writing Retreat at Paul Smith’s College. Students will enjoy poetry performances and learn to supercharge their writing with workshop leaders and poetry rockstars José Olivarez, Jon Sands, and Amanda Torres.

Register for two days of writing workshops, epic performances, meeting new friends and fellow writers, and a meet & greet with poets. This is a perfect opportunity to include on college applications.

The retreat is free and open to any high school students and classes, including homeschool students. It will be held in-person at Paul Smith’s College (7777 NY-30, Paul Smiths, NY 12970). Students must bring their own lunch.

Register as a school or as an individual homeschool student.
No experience necessary, and no fee to attend.
