In a breathtaking fusion of classical ballet and cultural celebration, the National Ballet of Ukraine, hailing from the illustrious Taras Shevchenko National Opera of Ukraine, one of the finest dance companies in the world, is currently gracing stages across Canada with 21 performances of their enchanting show , “Nadiya Ukraine.”
“Nadiya,” meaning “hope” in Ukrainian, becomes a poignant theme, intertwining the narratives of two nations as the performance artfully transcends borders. The show is currently running in Montreal for four nights at Espace Saint-Denis, January 17, 18, 19 and 20th , 2024.
Featuring excerpts from timeless masterpieces such as “Le Corsaire” and “Don Quixote,” as well as dance numbers with music from Ukrainian composers such as “Skoryk“, the company’s repertoire, one of the world’s largest with 24 ballets, showcases the exceptional skill and artistry of its members.
