BETA Technologies is reaching out to area students who may choose careers in aerospace manufacturing. BETA set up a flight simulator at this year’s North Country Manufacturing Day held recently at Clinton Community College for the 750 students who attended the event to have the opportunity to get hands-on experience of what it’s like to fly one of BETA Technologies electric aircraft.
BETA is partnering with CV-TEC Career & Technical Education in Plattsburgh to develop a curriculum to train workers for its expanded test facilities that it plans to build at Plattsburgh International Airport.
