The Adirondack Center for Writing aims to ease your stress during the pandemic.

Writing about the pandemic will not only help you process the situation, but it may also benefit generations to come.

Executive Director Nathalie Thill of the Adirondack Center for Writing discusses reading and writing initiatives with Spotlight producer Paul Larson.

Initiatives include writing prompts from local authors to provide topic ideas, the bookmobile, and online book lovers hangouts.

If you’re strolling the sidewalks in Saranac Lake on a rainy day in mid-July, look for the winners of the Raining Poetry Project.  The words are printed with paint that only becomes visible when the sidewalks are wet!

Learn about all the new initiatives from the Adirondack Center for Writing at their website: adirondackcenterforwriting.org.

Spotlight is made possible, in part, by the Glenn and Carol Pearsall Adirondack Foundation, dedicated to improving the quality of life for year-round residents of the Adirondack Park.  Spotlight is also supported by Hill & Hollow Music.
