We talk with North Country Assemblyman Billy Jones about the rollout of the COVID vaccine, the looming budget deadline, and the crisis facing New York’s Governor. Jones talks about how he, and other top Democratic leaders in New York, had a change of heart in recent days and are now calling on Governor Andrew Cuomo to step down. There has been a push this week by many Republicans, and several Democrats, to start impeachment proceedings in the Assembly.
Late this week there were renewed calls by North Country State Senator Dan Stec for the Governor to resign after the latest and most serious allegation to date surfaced by an unidentified aide who claims Cuomo groped her while she was working at the Executive Mansion, last year. Cuomo has denied inappropriately touching anyone, and once again insisted he would not resign.
