Check out the 2022 Keeseville Community Arts Festival from July 22 – 24!
The Keeseville Community Arts Festival is a summertime celebration of all things art in the hamlet! Hosted by AdkAction, locals and visitors attending this annual festival will enjoy live music, theater, and art demonstrations. Kicking off earlier in the week, plein air—or outdoor—painters from across the nation will be painting scenes in and around Keeseville, displayed in an art show and sale running the duration of the festival.
2022’s festival will include a brand-new Arts in the Park event in Anderson Falls Park on Saturday, July 23 starting at 10 AM. Artisans local to Keeseville will set up alongside the Ausable River to sell their artwork, as well as demonstrate and talk about their craft while answering questions from festival goers. Pottery, jewelry making, graphic arts, Adirondack furniture crafting, and culinary arts will all be included, as well as musical performances by Alice’s Fault and Joanna D’Ascoli.
Kids of all ages will also have the opportunity to engage in the arts with free, hands-on activities! Sign up for a youth outdoor painting class, a zine making station, and a tie dye workshop where kids will be given a free festival t-shirt to dye and take home.
