Arts Center welcomes the public back!

Art show in Lake Placid is now open.

You are welcome to explore the new gallery show in Lake Placid in person.  The Lake Placid Center for the Arts is welcoming the public, once again, after a closure of six and a half months.

The open juried art show features more than 70 works by artists from all over northern New York, as well as nearby states and Canada. This LPCA tradition will feature a variety of paintings, drawings, sculpture, assemblage and photographs.  The new works will remain in the gallery until November 14.

Center administrators say the gallery will follow all New York State Department of Health guidelines. A limited number of visitors will be admitted during open hours, masks will be required and special daily cleaning and sanitization protocols will be in place.

Some fall classes and workshop programs at the center are also set to resume, with safety measures observed.

LPCA online activities will also continue.  In late October you may also view an online version of the open juried show.
