The “Media Professional & Peer Review” Workshop takes place virtually on Zoom. A link to the workshop will be emailed to all enrollees prior to March 15th.

About Beyond the Peaks Student Film Festival

Mountain Lake PBS is proud to present the Beyond the Peaks Student Film Festival during the 2022-23 school year. Celebrating its 4th year showcasing student creativity and talent from across the region and beyond, teachers and students alike can learn the ins and outs of film-making while crafting films in a variety of genres.

How to Enter

High school students, 9-12 grade, located in NY, VT, or QC are eligible to enter.

Create a student or teacher account on Skills21 Launchpad to begin exploring tutorials, resources, and step-by-step instructions on how to successfully submit your completed film entries! Film entry categories include Documentary, PSA, Drama, Comedy, and Open Theme.

Submissions are due by April 30th with winners announced at an end-of-school year Red Carpet Showcase. The top three winners will receive a cash prize and video supplies!
