After a three-year break due to the COVID pandemic, the Clinton County Coalition to Prevent Suicide is once again hosting its annual community program that features speakers who talk about their experiences with suicide, the unexpected loss of loved ones, and personal trauma. They share their stories of how they found strength and hope to begin the long process of healing.
Speakers this year will include Melissa Kuhns and her sister Amy Collin. Melissa, just within the past few years lost both her son and her daughter to suicide. Also, Kolby Keysor will talk about his motocross accident several years ago that left him paralyzed.
“An Evening of Healing: Stories of Strength” will be held Monday, March 20, 2023, at 6pm, at the Newman Center, 90 Broad Street, near the SUNY Plattsburgh Campus.
