American Portrait | Dr. Nina Schoch

Mountain Lake PBS is highlighting changemakers throughout the North Country as a part of the PBS American Portrait initiative. This video features the story of Dr. Nina Schoch.

Dr. Schoch is the Executive Director for the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation in Saranac Lake, New York.  She talks about her work as a researcher at the Adirondack Loon Center studying the impact environmental mercury pollution has had on aquatic ecosystems and wildlife throughout the Adirondack Park and North America, using the Common Loon as an indicator species.
