Nearly 200 firefighters from the North Country, Quebec, and across New York State have been battling a wildfire that has scorched more than 500 acres of forest land in the Northern Adirondacks. As of mid-week, the fire was 100% contained, although fire crews with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation remain on scene.
