Heavy rain triggered flooding in parts of the Adirondacks this week. Water from the AuSable River washed out a section of State Route 73, which is one of the main routes into the Adirondacks. Local officials say they’ll tally up the damage across Essex County to see if it’s severe enough to make them eligible for federal disaster aid.
