This year’s production proudly celebrates an exciting milestone for Mont Royal Ballet Academy, a respected Montreal institution dedicated to nurturing young talent through classical ballet training, discipline, and artistic excellence. The academy is a proud partner of Tutu Deluxe, whose annual Nutcracker productions give students the invaluable opportunity to perform in a professional setting after a successful audition process earlier this year.

A special round of applause goes to PTP student Zaelie, age 17, who stepped into the enchanting and highly coveted and physically demanding role of the Sugar Plum Fairy for this season.

Her performance was a true highlight of this production, showcasing grace, musicality, and the dedication of a young dancer reaching an important artistic milestone.

It was great to see her and the other students smile and shine on stage.
