Let the tranquility of a cappella music overtake your senses..

This January 15th , come and experience a peaceful evening at La Maison Symphonique de Montréal with Ensemble ArtChoral as they perform Moonlight: an a cappella choral  celebration under the direction of maestro Matthias Maute.

Some of the most exquisite choral repertoire pieces will be passionately performed by the  twenty-four professional singers of the ensemble.

Music enthusiasts will hear a number of the chosen works, including the well-known Ave verum corpus by Mozart and the Moonlight Sonata’s renowned first movement, both of which have been  reworked for choir and piano.

It wouldn’t be a choral celebration without a surprise!

During the concert, 200 singers from five different choirs will join the Ensemble to show the audience the genuine power of the human voice.

Choral singing allows us to express our deepest emotions. By blending the voices together in a choir, it allows us to portray the very essence of our humanity in the most beautiful of ways,” explains Matthias Maute, Artistic Director of the Ensemble ArtChoral.
