A Memorable Premiere for Tommy Néron and His First One-Man Show, Les fleurs poussent encore

In front of a packed and enthusiastic crowd at the Gesù, comedian Tommy Néron unveiled the Montreal premiere of his debut solo show, Les fleurs poussent encore, delivering a confident and engaging French performance that had the audience laughing throughout the evening.

Following an entertaining 10 minutes opening act by fellow comedian Louis-Girard Bock, Tommy took to the stage with natural stage presence and sharp timing, Néron shared a series of personal stories drawn from an unconventional life path. The show weaves together candid reflections on topics such as masculinity stereotypes, body image, eating habits, and growing up with a single mother.

Guided by the direction of Laurent Paquin and script editing by Korine Côté, the performance balanced humor with sincerity, offering a thoughtful and entertaining perspective on everyday life.

Néron proved himself to be an authentic voice on stage and a gifted storyteller. Much of the show’s appeal came from the way he transforms the everyday struggles of young adulthood into clever and relatable comedy. His material feels personal yet universal, allowing audiences to recognize their own experiences in his stories while enjoying the rhythm and punch of well-crafted jokes.

First revealed to a wide audience in 2024, Néron has quickly become one of the most visible rising comedians in Quebec. He has sold out the MTelus three times with Tommy & Friends, received a nomination at the Les Olivier Gala, and appeared on major media platforms including the talk show Tout le monde en parle and the morning program Salut Bonjour.

On radio, he co-hosted Le Boost on ÉNERGIE and collaborated on Un peu, beaucoup, passionnément on ROUGE. His direct style and approachable humor have helped him build a social media community of more than 210,000 followers.

With Les fleurs poussent encore, Néron takes a significant step forward in his career, presenting a first full-length show that blends artistic maturity, vulnerability, and irreverence as it begins touring across Quebec.
