Construction is underway on a new Arts Park in downtown Plattsburgh named in honor of long-time North Country State Senator Betty Little.
The project, part of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant, will create a green space downtown between Margaret and Bridge Streets. It will offer a space for local artists to showcase their sculptures as well as benches and a water feature. The city is still looking for artists to display their works. The project is expected to be completed by this fall.
