Seventh-graders at Beekmantown Middle School were all set to host a second “Honor Run” 5K race to raise money for North Country Honor Flight, but the coronavirus has canceled that run. The students, still hoping to make a difference, held a food-drive to benefit the United Way and raised cash donations for the North Country Honor Flight. The non-profit, which takes veterans to the national memorials in Washington, D.C., has been forced to suspend its flights until next year.
