Family-Friendly Events in August with AdkAction & Carriage House Cooking School

Ever wonder what to do with kohlrabi? What about an overabundance of brussels sprouts or farm fresh tomatoes?

Join AdkAction and Chef Curtiss Hemm of the Carriage House Cooking Schoolin-person, at the Farmacy in downtown Keeseville, New York from 5:30-7:30 pm on August 3rd & 18th for two great, family-friendly cooking events!

Chef Curtiss will discuss, explore, and explain meal planning tips and demonstrate simple recipes to maximize the flavor and nutritional value of your CSA shares— that’s local food directly from North Country farmers!

Participants can get involved and ask questions about meal planning, what to do with an unknown veggie, or other cooking-related questions to stump Chef Curtiss.

Sign up today by emailing info@adkaction.org. Enrollment is limited with priority for AdkAction’s Fair Food Pricing participants.

But don’t worry – both events will be live streamed on AdkAction’s Facebook page. Sign up for the August 3rd and August 18th events to tune in on Facebook Live, or to watch the recordings later on from the comfort of your own kitchen.
