As part of their 50th anniversary celebrations, Parc Safari hosted yesterday an open house for media and parc supporters to announce some of the new projects that include the opening of the parc 9 months a year with the addition of a Night Safari and having accessible walking paths to the animal enclosures during wintertime.

The Night Safari !

The Night Safari will offer festive illuminations immersing guests in a magical country theme, filled with arctic, forest and African landscapes.

The chosen designer for the project is Leblanc Illuminations from Joliette.

This project is to be carried out thanks to the support of the Ministry of Tourism of Quebec and Development Economic Canada as well as from the Fondation of friends of Parc Safari.

Three talented artists were also welcome on site yesterday to paint some of the parc’s beloved animals. Their paintings will be sold at auction for the benefit of the Fondation des Amis du Parc Safari.
