1814 Commemoration Inc held a Press Conference to announce this year’s 25th anniversary schedule and 2023 Battle of Plattsburgh Poster Contest winners. Students in 5th grade in Clinton or Essex counties were asked to design a poster depicting their vision of historic events that occurred during the Battle of Plattsburgh. The posters were judged by art teachers, and four winners will receive cash prizes and certificates of excellence. Mayor Christopher Rosenquest presented the awards at the press conference.
