New Memorial
The Town of Plattsburgh announces plans for a new waterfront war memorial on Lake Champlain that will include access to near-by Crab Island where 50 American sailors and soldiers killed during the War of 1812 and Battle of Plattsburgh are buried in an unmarked grave.
Signs of the Times
A new trail lets visitors discover Plattsburgh’s history. As many as 50 historical markers donated by Plattco Corporation will be going up at the sites of current and former landmarks and locations where historic events took place in the City’s past.
