Salt Pilot Project

Three North Country lawmakers are teaming up to support legislation that would create a pilot program to reduce the amount of road salt used on highways in the Adirondacks. Salt from highways is blamed for polluting lakes, streams and hundreds of private wells. Read more about the problem, and pilot program:
