Ice Castle Opens in Lake George

This year, for the first time, there’s a spectacular new winter attraction in Lake George that opened this week. Ice artists have built a frozen winter wonderland, a castle, made of giant towers of ice and icicles, full of tunnels, slides, and a fountain, embedded with thousands of colorful lights.
Ice Castles, a company based in Utah that builds these attractions all across the U-S and in Canada, has opened its first Ice Castle in New York State, in the Village of Lake George through early March.
