Border Closure Sinks Summer Season at Marina

The Border closure all but ends the hope of salvaging the summer season for many North Country businesses that cater to Canadians. We talk with Plattsburgh Boat Basin owner Art Spiegel about the effect the pandemic is having on his marina and restaurant.

    I think it’s horrible that this flu is causing the border to not open with all the protection that we are all practicing the social distancing and mask wearing should be sufficient enough for us to have the remainder of the summer to enjoy for both Americans and Canadians

    I use to live in Plattsburgh and very sad to see this happened. Sounds like a good time to take a vacation in Plattsburgh and help local business.
