Adirondack Autumnal Suite | Roadside Adventures Archives

As we get to the peak of fall here in the Adirondacks, here’s a great throwback episode of Roadside Adventures from 2003, celebrating our gorgeous autumn season.

Relax for 30 minutes and enjoy some beautiful scenery, a little science lesson from Derek, and catch some sites you might recognize from the North Country.

This episode of Roadside Adventures, along with dozens of other programs from Mountain Lake PBS, has been preserved by the American Archive of Public Broadcasting in partnership with the Library of Congress and WGBH.

  1. Hello,
Sometime ago Mr. Muirden toured a decommissioned nuclear silo in either Jay or Saranac, NY. Part of it was converted to a house and it came with it’s own landing strip. It was very interesting and I was trying to find it to show someone. I’m not sure if it is still viewable?
Thanks for any help and take care,
    Chris
