Read-Along with PBS Kids!

PBS KIDS is hosting a series of Read-Alongs on social media offering families a place to come together and celebrate their love of reading during this time at home! Check out the great titles highlighted so far, read by some of your favorite authors – Chris Kratt, Brad Meltzer, Marc Brown and Victoria Kann.

You can view weekly Read-Alongs on PBS KIDS’ Facebook page and YouTube channel, including the brand-new “Mondays with Michelle Obama” kicking off April 20th at 12pm. This four-week series of videos features Mrs. Obama reading aloud from beloved children’s books, one book every Monday through May 11th.

Join Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum co-creator Brad Meltzer as he reads “I Am Amelia Earhart.” After reading the book with your kids, ask them what they would say to a friend who was nervous or scared.

You don’t need a library card to check out “Arthur’s New Puppy!” Watch Marc Brown, creator and illustrator of the Arthur book series, read this book and teach a drawing lesson.

Ready for a pinkatastic read-along? Watch Victoria Kann, author and illustrator of Pinkalicious, read “Silverlicious” and teach a drawing lesson just for PBS KIDS!

Check out Angela Santomero, creator of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, read “You Are Special, Daniel Tiger!” After watching ask your child, “What’s something special that you can do?”

It’s time for a creature adventure! Watch Chris Kratt from Wild Kratts read “Wild Dogs & Canines!” What animals can you and your kids observe near — or in — your home?
