An elementary school in the Adirondacks is teaching its young students about the service and sacrifice soldiers give each day. The 5th & 6th grade cadets of the AuSable Valley Central School District, in AuSable Forks, lined up to honor Veterans from the past & present. Students in Marty Remillard’s 6th grade class spent the entire year learning about veterans and what their service and sacrifice mean for this country. The cadets spent the past several weeks perfecting their drill routines that they presented at their annual “Salute to Veterans” assembly.
