Emergency Aid

Volunteer fire departments across New York are applauding the new State Budget deal that will now let them charge insurers and patients for the costs of providing emergency ambulance services. The bill’s sponsor, Assemblyman Billy Jones, joined first responders from Clinton County to talk about how it will benefit local volunteer ambulance squads by allowing them to now be able to recoup hundreds of thousands of dollars in costs.
