On Ken Burns’ The Vietnam War

I am writing to thank you so much for presenting the documentary series The Vietnam War. I watched, recorded, and re-watched each episode and complimentary documentaries related to the series with great interest... The series answered the questions that had literally plagued me since I was a teen I was able for the first time, from a Canadian perspective, to understand what really happened, and cried when real facts were given for things that were just nebulous titles of places, events and people.

Thousands of thanks

I send Mountain Lake PBS ‘thousands of thanks’ for the quality of their TV programs and for allowing me to discover and fall in love with American folk music. With rich music, simple words and an invitation to share life, justice, respect and great humanity, these songs exemplify what Mountain Lake PBS is about.

Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood

Memories of watching Mister Rogers’ Neighbourhood on Mountain Lake PBS more than forty years ago are comforting reminders of the safe childhood I had here in Montreal.
