Pay Raise: North Country lawmakers are taking a stand against another increase in the state's minimum wage. A phased-in hike passed by lawmakers two years ago will increase the statewide minimum wage to $9.00 an hour by the end of the year. Governor Cuomo wants to boost that to $10.50 an hour.
