Mountain Lake Journal airs Fridays at 8 PM with repeats on Saturday at 12:30 AM and 7 PM, and Sundays at 5:30 AM and 10 AM, and Thursdays at 1 PM.

Dissed-Respect: The Impact of Bullying

Dissed-Respect: The Impact of Bullying encourages dialogue about the need to reduce the high-risk behavior of bullying. The program combines role-playing scenes with candid interviews of students and authorities in the field. In addition it employs an alternative approach utilizing poetry, rap and music to appeal to today’s student.

Flowers in the Desert: Cirque du Soleil

Flowers in the Desert explores the permanent feature shows of Cirque du Soleil on the Las Vegas Strip. Behind the scenes interviews and backstage footage allow the viewers to explore the creative process behind the performances.

This program was produced by Mountain Lake PBS as a fundraising program for the PBS system.

Unless a Death Occurs: Hazing Examined

This film is an incisive documentary on the pervasiveness of hazing on America's high school and college campuses. In particular, this film traces the tragic steps of Walter Dean Jennings, a Plattsburgh State University freshman, who ultimately paid his tormentors the highest price for admittance into a fraternity banned by college authorities.
