Roadside Adventures combed the north-country region in search of fascinating places to play, stay and dine! Host Derek Muirden is all over the map, so join Mountain Lake PBS as we head on down the road in search of another Roadside Adventure. New episodes begin March 20th at 8 PM!

Roadside Adventure airs on Thursdays at 8:00 PM, Saturdays at 6:00 PM, and Tuesdays at 1:00 PM.

Dissed-Respect: The Impact of Bullying encourages dialogue about the need to reduce the high-risk behavior of bullying. The program combines role-playing scenes with candid interviews of students and authorities in the field. In addition it employs an alternative approach utilizing poetry, rap and music to appeal to today’s student.

Flowers in the Desert: Cirque du Soleil

Flowers in the Desert explores the permanent feature shows of Cirque du Soleil on the Las Vegas Strip. Behind the scenes interviews and backstage footage allow the viewers to explore the creative process behind the performances.

This program was produced by Mountain Lake PBS as a fundraising program for the PBS system.

Forgotten War: The Struggle for North America

This 60-minute documentary tells  the little-known story of how the native people of North America controlled the outcome of the French-Indian War. This special taps an panel of experts to dig beneath the familiar history, and shed new light on the multicultural blend of natives, Europeans, and Africans that was the North America of the 1750’s.

This film is an incisive documentary on the pervasiveness of hazing on America's high school and college campuses. In particular, this film traces the tragic steps of Walter Dean Jennings, a Plattsburgh State University freshman, who ultimately paid his tormentors the highest price for admittance into a fraternity banned by college authorities.
