The North Country Down Syndrome Association (NCDSA) will be hosting a Bowling Jamboree on Sunday, April 28th from 1-5pm at North Bowl Lanes in Plattsburgh.
The North Country Down Syndrome Association is a local nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance as well as information and support to people with Down Syndrome and their families. For over ten years, the NCDSA has been an active part of the community, organizing the annual Buddy Walk, and various other events, including Calendar Night with the Plattsburgh State Men’s hockey team. Their most recent initiative involved the purchasing of iPads, and the necessary software, that will help two of their younger members develop their communication skills.
If you would like to participate in the Bowling Jamboree, $60 will sponsor a team of four. Individuals or teams of two or three can bowl for $18 per person. The entry fee includes two games and shoe rental.
