Women’s Equality Act: Governor Cuomo unveils a sweeping bill of rights for women that includes equal pay, a series of anti-discrimination laws, and stronger penalties for human trafficking. The 10-point plans also strengthens abortion laws in New York, which is opposed by the majority of republicans in the senate.
Filling The Seats: The new seats are in and the curtain is ready to go up on the very first concert at the newly renovated Strand Theater in downtown Plattsburgh.
