North Country Hat Trick: For the third year in a row, the North Country Regional Economic Development Council is getting one of the largest shares of state economic development grant money, this year receiving $81.3 million dollars to fund nearly 70 projects across the 7-county region of northern New York from Watertown to Plattsburgh. Warning Signs: New York goes high tech adding led road signs that use radar to detect when vehicles are going the wrong way and flashes messages to warn drivers. The signs are being installed along New York’s 570-mile thruway.

Making The Holidays Bright: A light display on wheels has become a holiday tradition.
New Wilderness Area: The Adirondack Park Agency announces how tens of thousands of acres of new acquired timberland and wilderness in the Adirondack park can be used. Roughly 20-thousand acres will be designated as a new wilderness area in the upper reaches of the Hudson River. The plan also allows a snowmobile trail to cut through the heart of that wilderness area linking several rural communities in the Adirondack park. To learn more click here.
