Storm Recovery: New York Governor Cuomo pledges up to 6 million dollars to help the Adirondack communities of Keene and Jay rebuild from Irene and prepare for more storms and flooding to come.
Prison Closing: 2 more prisons are targeted by the Cuomo administration and New York State corrections department to close in the North Country, the Chateaugay prison in Franklin county and Mount McGregor in northern Saratoga county. Combined the closures would eliminate more than 400 jobs.
Cuomo on Tourism and Weiner: We hear from the governor on the success of the Adirondack challenge and why, as the state’s top democrat, he has refused to weigh in on the Anthony Weiner controversy.
