For students in grades 7-11
Using video they have recorded, students will learn how to create a basic movie using iMovie software and the computers in our Media Lab at Mountain Lake PBS. The workshop will include the following: importing digital video, exploring the structure of iMovie, basic clip manipulation, titles, transitions and effects. They will also tour the Mountain Lake PBS studio, meet a producer, and attend a taping of our award winning Mountain Lake Journal news program. This workshop will align to NY State and the Common Core Standards and teach students important 21st Century Skills.

WHEN: Class will meet weekly for 4 weeks on Tuesdays, July 9 to July 30- 1:00PM-3:00PM
COST: $100. Due upon registration for the class.
*REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Access to an iphone, ipad or video camera to shoot video to bring to the workshop
