Turnpike Wesleyan Church to Host Community Egg Hunt & Fun Day
Turnpike Wesleyan Church will host a Celebrate the Son Egg Hunt and carnival style Fun Day on Saturday, March 30th, beginning at 10:30 am. The day’s events will start with the egg hunt and then will continue with various activities that will take place throughout the church and church grounds.
In addition to the egg hunt, highlighted activities include egg coloring, basket decorating, flower planting, donkey petting zoo/rides, face painting, carnival games, and a bounce house. We will also have food which includes hot dogs, drinks, cotton candy, and popcorn.
“The purpose of this event is to introduce more families in our community to our church, not only to see what we have to offer here, but also to experience the Easter Holiday in a way they may not normally have the opportunity to,” said Alicia Sirk, Community Events Director. “We encourage families to come and enjoy the day together, while also learning a little more about the Easter story.”
This activity is free and open to the public and is particularly geared toward families with children up to 6th grade. Activities will take place regardless of weather and will be moved indoor if necessary.
