Ti Arts Welcomes you to join them in Celebrating Ticonderoga's 250th Anniversary by participating in the First Annual Tri-Artsathon
Register by Friday July 11 for free workshops offered this Saturday, July 12, by Ti Arts in basic painting, poetry, and photography. Call Joan Pulling at 585-6312 or email email@example.com. Walk- ins are welcome!Classes will be held on Saturday, July 12, 10am-1:30pm at the Hancock House. Popular art instructors Joan Pulling and Stella Dwyer will lead the first workshop on watercolor / colored pencil, which begins at 10am. Registration is required for this workshop, which will provide free materials. At 11:30 Gary Tobler will instruct participants on photography. Nancy A. Carter will lead the class on poetry. Painters and poets will get hands-on time and an opportunity for help from the instructors.
These workshops are offered to help prepare individuals for the Tri-Artsathon competition, which begins next week.
Join the educational and competitive fun. Submit, as individuals and/or as teams, three works of art on the theme "Ticonderoga, the First 250 Years: Appreciation for the Past, Pride in the Present, and Hope for the Future." Free supplies with be provided for the contest (paper, watercolors, brushes, mats).
Deadline for submission of art is Saturday, July 19, 2pm.
Art will be shown and prizes awarded on Streetfest day, July 26.
