Green Mountain Plonkers Club
The Green Mountain Plonkers Trials Club of Vermont, will be hosting the AIReS AMA/NATC Moto Trials 2013 National Series, Rounds 3 & 4 in Highgate, VT on June 22 and 23, 2013, at he Carman Brook Maple and Dairy Farm in Swanton, VT. Top riders from all over the US will be competing on a challenging natural terrain of rocks, ledges, logs, hillside climbs and walls. The Classes of riders include professionals to youths. Many of the pro competitors, including Pat Smage, #1 in the US, Cody Webb, Keith Wineland and Bryan Roper will be competing at this event, having just finished World Round Competitions in Sequatchie, Tennessee, challenging the best riders in the world.
On Saturday, June 22nd , a very special "Pro Shootout" event will take place. The top five riders from that day's event will compete on extreme terrain in four different sections. This will be a very competitive and fun end to the day.
Spectators may begin arriving at 8:00am. The pit areas will be open for those who wish to spend some time observing the teams getting ready for the event. Spectators fees are $15.00 each day or $20.00 for a weekend pass. Children 12 and under are free. Minors (under 18 years) must accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The first scheduled rider leaves the gate at 9:00am each day. Pro-riders start at 1:00am. Food vending, breakfast and lunch will be available.
