This summer, the Sembrich celebrates the centennial of Britten's birth with several performances in addition to this film screening:

• The Operas of Benjamin Britten, a studio talk with music scholar Peter Wynne, on Wednesday, July 10, at 1:30 p.m. ($10)
The film series continues with La Traviata (1982) on July 22, Wagner and Me (2010) on August 12, and Amadeus (1984) on August 25.
