The Saranac Village at Will Rogers Senior Outing Club’s November event will be on Tuesday, November 25th featuring a visit to Adirondack Loj for a one-mile hike around Heart Lake and a lecture on Adirondack weasels by Seth Jones, Adirondack Mountain Club’s Education Programs Coordinator.
The Saranac Village at Will Rogers Outing Club, is open to all seniors (55+) interested in venturing out for moderate activity at various locations around the area. Activities are held on the last Tuesday of every month. The club’s mission is to “offer seniors a chance to enjoy outdoor adventures with companionship, safety and fun.”
This program is open to the public. A lunch of soup, salad, sandwich, dessert and drinks will be provided for $12.50 per person. A small donation will be requested for the presentation and walk. Please wear good walking shoes and clothing for potentially cool or inclement weather. Departure will be from Will Rogers at 10:00 a.m. Please call 518-891-7117 between Monday, November 17 and Friday, November 21st to reserve a spot on the trip.
