As part of the Saranac Village at Will Rogers’ Road to Retirement Series, on Wednesday, October 7th at 2:00 p.m., at Saranac Village at Will Rogers, Linda Manzo, ADK Program Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association of Northeastern New York will use humor to explain how laughter can benefit your body and mind.
Linda attended Flower-Fifth Avenue School of Nursing in New York City and obtained both a Bachelor of Science and MBA from Nyack College, NY. As an RN she worked at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in the ICU as a Medical-Surgical Supervisor and a Director of Clinical Practice. After 35 years, Linda retired from the hospital and now works for the Alzheimer’s Association. She now travels throughout Warren, Washington, Hamilton and Essex Counties providing Alzheimer’s education and care consults to families and communities.
The Road to Retirement Series features programs related to discovering the path others have taken to retirement, serves to further educate and engage communities and teaches about the opportunities, services and resources that can help people retire successfully and happily.
