The Plattsburgh Winter Farmers Market re-opens with its winter schedule this Saturday, January 12, from 10 to 2 in the City of Plattsburgh Recreation Center, 52 US Oval. After a very successful fall season, the Plattsburgh Winter Farmers Market will continue once a month, on second Saturdays - January 12, February 9, March 9, and April 13.
Many items will also be available for delivery into Plattsburgh or pick up at Rehoboth Homestead the last week of the month through the market’s online ordering system, http://plattsburgh.locallygrown.net/.
Everything sold at the market is grown or made by the vendor. Offerings include gluten-free baked goods from the Skinny Baker; goat cheese and soaps from Asgaard Farm; chicken, duck, guinea, and eggs from Woven Meadow Farm, maple syrup, maple cream, maple sugar from Parker Family Maple Farm; wines from Stonehouse Vineyard; herbal teas and jellies from Underwood Herbs; jams and spreads from Adirondack Specialty Foods; custom made candles from Custom Create Candles; and fresh spinach and salad greens, root crops chicken, duck, pork, eggs, and pickles/vinaigrettes/salsa from Rehoboth Homestead.
