An important and often overlooked component of the North Country Lumber Jills is community service. Each bout throughout the season is dedicated to a local non-profit organization as part of our events to give back to the community. 4-H Youth Development Program, a wonderful organization that empowers youth to reach their full potential by encouraging youth to make positive changes within their communities, is the featured non-profit for the The Bloody Valentine Bout. The organization will be tabling throughout our bout, and all proceeds from the 50/50 rifle go toward the local 4-H chapter for Clinton County.
The North Country Lumber Jills will be providing food featuring pizza and other snacks and beverages, while Olive Ridley’s will be in charge of the beer garden as well as hosting the first after party of the season.
Plattsburgh Roller Derby is a skater-owned and operated roller derby league that formed in the spring of 2010.
