To celebrate Central Asian art and culture, Festival Accès Asie will wrap up this year’s edition with a vibrant mix of musical and dance performances, encounters with the artists and a series of workshops from Thursday, May 26th to Sunday, May 29th, 2016.
Following their earlier tributes to Iran, India and Anatolia, the music and dance s of Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Iran will be honored during the festival's closing week.
The International Arts component of Festival Accès Asie will present three major events which includes a grand dance and musical performance tonight Thursday, May 26th at 8:00 pm at Club Soda entitled : Perles d’Ailleurs – Golestan
This third edition of Golestan (Persian for «flower garden»), as proposed by Sarah Hubert de Margerie, will bring together artists serving as cultural ambassadors from vast areas of Central Asia.
Through her dance, the internationally renowned dancer and choreographer Miriam Peretz will take us on a journey to Central Asia, featuring the music of ZiyaTabassian (percussionist), Efrén López (Afghan rubab) and Bashir Faramarzi (Iranian santur and dutar).
