NCCCA Announces New Class Offering: Voice Lessons with Cherie LaDuke
Voice Lessons added to NCCCA Ongoing Classes
The NCCCA will now be offering ongoing Voice Lessons with Cherie LaDuke on Monday and Thursday evenings. The cost is $30 per half hour or $50 for an hour, and are open to all ages.
“Members and non-members alike have expressed interest in voice lessons at the Arts Center for many months and we are thrilled that this is now a reality,” says Janine Scherline, Executive Director of NCCCA. “The classes are one on one, and a unique opportunity for improving the foundation skills of breathing, posture and tone quality.”
“Cherie LaDuke is a well respected member of the music community. She currently is the director of the Champlain Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines and teaches at Momot Elementary, Elizabethtown-Lewis Central School, and the CVES Mineville Campus,” continues Scherline.
“We’re very excited about the addition of Cherie to our Music Studio,” says Emily Owens, NCCCA Education Coordinator. “She is a qualified instructor with a degree in Music Education with a Voice Concentration, and will tailor lessons to fit the individual’s needs.”
