Partly in sympathy for those from whom tears of disappointment will flow, a proper sendoff is scheduled to bid a special farewell to this curious little apocalypse-wannabe (about which the Mayans are enjoying a good laugh).
The evening will begin with a short mash-up, "End of the World: The Special Addiction," followed by the 1956 doomsday classic "World Without End," the first sci-fi drama ever filmed in Technicolor and Cinemascope.

"Django Unplugged," a brief nod to Quentin Tarantino's new film "Django Unchained," will conclude the program.
Free and open to everyone, this is an all-16mm, all-celluloid event with no high-fructose digital additives whatsoever.
